You can set up an ID field to automatically add a prefix, by modifying the ID field and adding a prefix.
Example:
If your VID or custom IDs are of the form AU476 329, where 329 is the individual animal’s number, you could set up a prefix by entering AU476 in the Prefix field.
On the Weigh screen, you type 329 into your ID field; the indicator automatically inserts AU476 as soon as you start typing.
