You can record external information about an animal, such as labels for a blood sample or fleece weight, by attaching a barcode which is linked to an animal ID.
Depending upon the type of barcode reader, you can connect to the indicator using the USB or Bluetooth® connection.
Before you connect the barcode reader, it must be set up as keyboard emulation. Some bar code readers must also be configured by scanning the bar codes on a bar code install sheet. See the barcode reader's user documentation for details.
