You can use more than one type of ID to identify animals and to find the particular animal's details.
The indicator comes with the VID and EID ID types already set up, but you may create a custom ID, if you need to.
There is a limit of four IDs in use at one time. Each ID of the same type must be unique. For example, each VID must be unique and if you try to add a new animal with an ID that already exists, you will see the existing animal's information.
You can change an animal's ID by physically attaching a new ID tag to the animal and changing that animal's ID tag on the indicator.
