By default, the indicator re-zeros automatically after each animal is weighed. This cancels out any weight increase due to any build up of dirt on the platform.
Sometimes you may need to turn this feature off, if, for example, you are adding small weights to the platform.
To turn off the automatic zero feature, go to the Settings > Weighing screen, and select Off from the Auto Zero Track drop down list.
